Cathedral Stakes is the feature this Sunday and 19 May Racecard Comp Winners

100 runners and 8 races meant there was plenty of excitement at Salisbury Races on Tuesday, Leading trainer, Richard Hannon, had two more winners taking his tally at the course this year to 5. David Evans also had a winner and is on 4 for the year.

There were some close finishes, none more so than in the main race when the Hannon trained Golden Aria got up by a nose under Pat Dobbs to beat Isolate.

June's busy programme at the racecourse continues on Sunday 12th June, Wednesday 22nd June and Sunday 26th June. The next meeting this Sunday features the £30,000 Cathedral Stakes run in memory of the late racehorse owner and breeder Bridget Swire, who was a big supporter of Salisbury.

The two winners of our racecard competition (from Thursday 19th May) are:
Ian Lambert, Shirley, Southampton
Mr Farr, Lyndhurst
They have been contacted and will each receive 2 x Bibury Enclosure badges for a race meeting of their choice.
