Owners and Trainers

The new Owners and Trainers Bar in the Wiltshire Stand proved to be a great success in 2005

Salisbury has a good reputation as a fair course for horses and many equine stars have won here over the centuries. It is particularly regarded as a good educational course for 2yo's.

The prize money for 2008 is forecasted to be £860,000 across the 16 race meetings.

All owners and trainers are welcome at Salisbury and we are pleased to provide the following information:

Badge allocation
Badge allocation per horse is six. Any additional badges can be purchased at the Owners & Trainers Entrance for £12 instead of £18. By prior arrangement with the racecourse, a syndicate head or trainer can arrange for these additional badges to be invoiced after the race meeting.

Car parking areas
Car parking is in the Owners & Trainers Car Park just off our main drive and very close to the Owners & Trainers Entrance. Please ensure your ROA car label is clearly visible to assist our car-parking staff. This car park does fill on certain days, when an alternative car park may well need to be used.

PASS cards
The PASS system operates at Salisbury. Please remember that your entitlement to Owners Badges must be verified by swiping your PASS card prior to any of your badges being issued.

Owners & Trainers bar
A new Bar for Owners & Trainers will be provided within our new development. The facility includes a balcony over-looking the winning line. Complimentary tea, coffee and good sandwiches are provided at a very reasonable rate.

Restaurants
Our Members' & Conservatory Restaurants can become booked up so advanced booking is recommended. We will always try and accommodate owners and trainers wanting a meal and if the restaurants are full there is often space in the Tisbury Room after the first race has been completed. Please see the Restaurant Manager on the day.

Helicopter Landing Facility
By prior arrangement with the Racecourse Office, helicopters can land on the golf course next to the racecourse. A grid reference will be provided.

For any further details regarding Owners & Trainers facilities please call 01722 326461.
