The £70,000 totesport Sovereign Stakes, one of the leading Group 3 races in England, takes place at its home at Salisbury Racecourse on Thursday 17th August. The first day features the £42,000 EBF Upavon Fillies Stakes, a Listed race over 1m2f, and Salisbury’s second most valuable race. The contest has been won by very decent fillies including Chorist, New Morning and La Persiana in the last five years. The two day meeting features entertainments for children. Tickets for adults (aged over 16) can be purchased at an advanced rate (Day Membership £15 (dress code applies), Tattersalls £9, and Course Enclosure £5) until Monday 7th August, after when the tickets increase to £18, £11 and £6 respectively.
