Saturday 10th July (evening)
The race night when Ladies are encouraged to dress their best – for some great prizes! Our three judges will be roaming around the enclosures identifying 20 ladies who they think should be in the final on the steps of the Weighing Room at 8pm after the fourth race. There will be prizes for Best Dressed Lady Overall Winner, First runner up, Second runner up, Third runner up, Most Exotic Outfit, Best Hat and Best Shoes. The Overall Winner will also be invited to join the judges in the Parade Ring for the last race to see the horses close up and choose the Best Turned Out Horse. This is the eighth Ladies Evening at Salisbury and it promises to be another great night out in 2010. The ladies always make a big effort and this event gets more popular every year. Come and enjoy evening racing at its best, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Immediately after racing the ‘official’ Girls Aloud tribute band called ‘Girls Allowed’ will be performing live on stage, opposite the stands, for an hour. This promises to be a very popular night and advanced ticket booking is recommended. Children’s entertainments are provided and remember to leave plenty of time for the journey. The principle race is the finale – the £14,000 EBF Ladies Evening Fillies Handicap over 1 mile....just before the band starts!
