Thursday 12th August
Thursday features the £60,000 ‘totesport.com Sovereign Stakes (Group 3)’ over 1 mile, and which is Salisbury’s most valuable race of the year. This race has been won by some top horses over the years including Passing Glance, Priors Lodge, Norse Dancer, Layman, Belenus and Mac Love. The 2004 running when Norse Dancer beat Lucky Story remains one of the highest rated Group 3 races of all time – anywhere in the UK.
Children’s entertainments are provided both days.

Gates open 12 noon on both days.
Provisional first race time is 2.30pm on both days and provisional last race time at 5.10pm (Wed) and 5.20pm (Thurs).
Both days currently have six races, with the possibility of a seventh (and eighth) race being added.
Finalised race times will be known at 10.30am on Monday 9th August for the Wednesday and Tuesday 10th August for the Thursday.
