The season gets off to a great start with our traditional Bank Holiday weekend meeting 'Family Fun Day 1' - always Salisbury's biggest and most atmospheric crowd. Children's facilities and family entertainments before and during racing make this a great family day out. It is a popular day, so get here early and miss the traffic.

A new date for 2008 and this is the first of three fabulous evening race meetings at Salisbury Racecourse during July. This promises to be a brilliant night out and a great way to start your weekend! The six races are all sponsored by Castlepoint Shopping Park in Bournemouth. Once racing has finished racegoers can stay on and enjoy live music from the outstanding Queen tribute band - Killer Queen, who will be performing on stage opposite the Stands. Killer Queen are previous winners of 'Worldwide Best Tribute Act'. It will be a popular night so booking tickets in advance is recommended and allow plenty of time for your journey.

'Ladies Evening' when Ladies are encouraged to dress their best - for prizes! This is the sixth Ladies Evening at Salisbury and it promises to be another great night out in 2008. The ladies make a great effort and this race night gets more popular every year. Come and enjoy evening racing at its best, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Children's entertainments are provided and remember to leave plenty of time for your journey.

The summer holidays are here, and so is 'Salisbury Splendour - Summer Festival'! Racing of the highest quality promises to make this two day meeting one of the main highlights of Salisbury's 2008 season. Wednesday features the £36,000 'EBF Upavon Fillies Stakes', and Thursday features the £55,000 'totesport.com Sovereign Stakes (Group 3)', Salisbury's most valuable race of the 2008 season. Children's entertainments are provided both days.

This is one of the last turf evening race meetings anywhere in the UK - so come and make the most of it! The night features the Weatherbys Bank Stonehenge Stakes which in 2007 turned out to be a race of outstanding quality with top prospects McCartney and Scintillo filling the first two places.
