SUMMARY:Late Summer Evening Racing
DESCRIPTION:A final opportunity to enjoy some evening racing at Salisbury this summer!\nIMPORTANT MEETING UPDATE BELOW…\nGates will NOW open at 1.30pm, an hour earlier than originally planned, as there are TWO EXTRA races with the first race now at 3.15pm and the last at 7.10pm. That means it is a fantastic 8 RACES event.   After the abandonment of Thursday 5th September (due to very heavy rain during the morning) two important races have been re-scheduled to be included on Friday 13th September, including the Group 3 ITM Dick Poole Fillies’ Stakes.  This race will take place as the second race at 3.55pm, to enable it to be screened live on the ITV Racing programme (who are covering racing from Doncaster).\nThere are 68 horses declared to run across the 8 races. Click on the link and open up “Salisbury”\nhttps://www.racingpost.com/racecards/2024-09-13/ ( https://www.racingpost.com/racecards/2024-09-13/ )\nThe weather forecast for Friday is:  Dry, some sunny spells, 15’c.\nThe Going at the course is currently GOOD TO SOFT (GoingStick reading of 7.0)\nChildren:  Accompanied children aged under 17 and under get in FREE at all Salisbury race days, however, no additional facilities for children are provided at this fixture.\nCar Parking:  All car parking at Salisbury Racecourse is FREE and each car park is located just a short distance from the enclosures.\nComplimentary Bus Service:  A Wheelers Bus has been booked for 1.30pm and 2.30pm from Salisbury Station and will return after racing at approximately 7.30pm. Please be mindful that there are roadworks on all of the main roads into Salisbury and this has been causing delays to this service on occasion.
