DESCRIPTION:The second day of our two-day August race meeting, which is right in the middle of the summer holidays, so a great idea for a day out with all the family!\nRacing Details:\nGates open at 12.30pm. There are 6 races. The first race is at 2.20pm and the last race is at 5.10pm.\nThere are 43 horses declared to run across the 6 races and more details can be found on the Racing Post website link below. Open the link up, and click on SALISBURY\nhttps://www.racingpost.com/racecards/2025-08-14/ ( https://www.racingpost.com/racecards/2025-08-14/ )\nWEATHER FORECAST – Sunny spells, gentle breeze, warm, 27° SMART SHORTS ARE PERMITTED IN ALL ENCLOSURES.\nThe Going on the track is currently Good to Firm, Good in places (watering) with a GoingStick reading of 8.3\nThere will be two small roundabout style rides at this meeting for little ones.\n1584 Restaurant & Conservatory: If you are wanting to dine with us for this meeting, the menu for the day is a Carvery. There will also be a cold table and choice of desserts. If you do book either of our restaurant packages, please notify us of any allergies in your party no later than 3 days prior to the event by e-mailing restaurant@salisburyracecourse.co.uk   ( mailto:restaurant@salisburyracecourse.co.uk )\nChildren:  Accompanied children aged under 17 and under get in FREE at all Salisbury race days.\nCar Parking:  All car parking at Salisbury Racecourse is FREE and each car park is located just a short distance from the enclosures.\nBig screens: there will be two big screens at this race day. The 25 metre square screen will be located opposite the parade ring and the 100 metre square screen will be facing the enclosures, about half a furlong from the winning post.  The big screens are provided by a contractor.  Salisbury Racecourse is not liable in the event of a picture failure to a screen during a race meeting, or if for any reason a screen fails to make it to the racecourse.\nComplimentary Bus Service:  A Wheelers Bus has been booked for 12.30pm and 1.30pm to leave Salisbury Railway Station to come up to the course. The bus will then return after racing at approximately 5.30pm. Please be aware that there are roadworks on some of the main roads in and out of the city so these times are approximate, please do not rely on the bus if you are getting a train at a specific time.
