Salisbury Racecourse aims to be accessible for all.
In line with RCA (Racecourse Association) guidelines we allow one complimentary entrance badge for the carer of a disabled adult. The disabled adult must receive one of the following to be eligible for a complimentary carer ticket:
To prove the eligibility we require to see a copy of the awarding letter from DWP or statement confirming receipt of the allowance and photo ID which matches the details of the recipient on the letter/statement. Alternatively, if you are a Registered Blind Person then a photocopy of certification and matching photo ID is required. A blue badge is no longer accepted as evidence of eligibility.
There are 10 favourably located accessible car parking spaces (on grass) in Car Park 2.
However, if using another car park please advise the car parking attendants if you require an accessible space and they will aim to park you as conveniently as possible.
There is a viewing ramp (uncovered) for wheelchair users, in each of the three enclosures. Wheelchair users in both Bibury and Grandstand & Paddock Enclosures can also access the top of the Wiltshire Stand (cream coloured building opposite the weighing room) via the lift inside.
Please see the security staff at the entrance to the Wiltshire Stand for assistance. We do not have any wheelchairs available to use at the racecourse.
If you require further information and advice about accessibility please email [email protected]
