We have a wide range of bars and eateries in all enclosures.
In addition to the Moonraker and Conservatory restaurants, Salisbury Racecourse has a range of bars and eateries in all enclosures to suit every palate and budget. Salisbury Racecourse, as well as our catering partners, where possible use local suppliers providing high quality homemade food.
The Bibury Enclosure is our premier Enclosure with good views of the racecourse plus the Bibury Lawn is situated overlooking the Winning Post, you really can’t be closer to the action!
Located on the ground floor of the Bibury Stand, with soft furnishings, tables and chairs, as well as a patio area looking towards the Parade Ring.
There is a fully stocked bar with various draft beers, snacks and treats.
Located on the first floor of the Bibury Stand, this is the biggest bar on the racecourse and has recently undergone a £200,000 refurbishment. The Bibury Bar has an attached balcony and the whole facility has impressive views of the final straight of the racecourse. The Bibury Bar has a fully stocked bar with a range of draft beers and an extremely popular food counter (tables cannot be pre-booked).
Examples of the Bibury Bar meals are: Cumberland Sausages; Steak & Kidney Suet Pudding or our delicious Pastry Pies with creamed potato, carrots, peas and gravy. There is also a new selection of tasty sandwiches and cakes, plus tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
The Persian Punch Bar, named after one of Salisbury’s most famous winners, is a fully stocked bar and is on the ground floor of the Bibury Enclosure. It is ideally located to have a drink between watching the races from the Bibury Lawn and having a bet with the on-course bookies or Totepool.
The Grandstand Enclosure has ample facilities, a good view of the racecourse & of the big screen. There will be mobile bar, catering & betting facilities available. The William Hill betting shop will be open. There will also be parade ring viewing.
A popular racegoers bar located underneath the terracing of the Grandstand, which has a fully stocked bar with a seating area inside. Our catering partner, Peter Symonds Leisure Catering prepares a delicious range of food options, from roast pork or roast beef baguettes/rolls with sage and onion stuffing, apple or horseradish sauce; as well as a range of Cornish pasties or baked potatoes with a variety of fillings. Pastries, muffins, tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also available. Food and drinks can be taken outside.
A fantastic spot for a glass of bubbly or Pimms, the Lester Piggott Bar is a roof terrace bar on top of the Wiltshire Stand with panoramic views across the Parade Ring and Racecourse. It has a fully stocked bar.
A very popular fully stocked bar with an outdoor fenced seating area. Situated opposite the Parade Ring, it is a fantastic place to horse and people watch whilst having a beer or a Pimms. Tea, coffee snacks and treats.
Peter Symonds Leisure Catering have a burger bar just beyond the Tattersalls Stand and an additional unit on bigger days. Picnic tables are located on the lawn opposite the food units.
At our three Saturday nights meetings; the Friday night meeting in August; and on the two Sunday race meetings (subject to the weather) will be either a Cocktail Bar or The Hop On Inn London Bus Pub.
The Sarum Enclosure offers racegoers the opportunity to enjoy a close up view of the live racing action. There will be mobile bar, catering & betting facilities available.
Has a fully stocked bar with a range of draft beers. It is located underneath the terracing of the Sarum Stand.
The units in the Sarum Enclosure are dependent on the profile of the raceday, but typically there is a burger van (also serving hot drinks), an ice cream van and sweet stall.
The Sarum Enclosure is the only enclosure where racegoers are permitted to bring in their own picnics. However, it is not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the racecourse. Bags may be searched on entry.
Please also note, that no gazebos, parasols or tents are permitted to be erected by racegoers within the Sarum Enclosure.
